ACORRN Structure

ACORRN exists to be responsive to, and reflect the needs of its members. Currently ACORRN has over 1600 members, comprising individuals from all disciplines related to radiotherapy and radiobiology practice and research, located all over the world. The ACORRN Oversight and Governance structure is designed to ensure that ACORRN’s activities are relevant to its members, providing support where it is needed.

The day to day management of the charity ACORRN - Action Radiotherapy is the responsibility of the Board of Trustees. The scientific and strategic management of the research network is the responsibility of a Scientific Committee (formerly the Steering Committee), which is also the main mechanism for linking with the wider radiotherapy/radiobiology research and clinical communities. The interests of particular professions, disciplines or research areas are served by Working Parties and Research Topic Specific Networks. Finally, ACORRN will be supported by an International Advisory Committee, which will advise on scientific and strategic priorities.
